Platforms Communications Holds April Edition Of M-CAMP

Platforms Communications recently held yet another successful edition of Maritime Career Mentorship Program (M-CAMP), a pet project of FOMI Ambassador, Queen Sarah Inyang.

According to a press statement sent to PLATFORM REPORTERS and signed by the CEO of Platforms Communications, Mr Sylvanus Obasi, the April Edition which held on Friday, April 1 was meant for Marine Engineering and Nautical Science Students/Cadets.

Mr Obasi disclosed that About 90 participants were in attendance from Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology, Yaba College of Technology, Certified Institute of Shipping, University of Lagos, Crown Maritime Academy and Akwa-ibom State University. 

The statement read in part as follows: “We appreciate in no small measures our team of Mentors: Capt Adewale Ishola, Mrs Rollens Mcfoy, Capt Iheanacho Ebubeogu and Dr Amos Hosea Kuje for your time and resourcefullness in making the occasion a memorable day.

“Our special gratitude also goes to the Nigerian Shippers Council for availing us their Conference Centre as a conducive venue; the Nigerian Association of Master Mariners; Seafarers Development Foundation, NIMASA and all others that supported this unique initiative. Together,we are touching lives, making impacts and changing the narrative!
