Platforms Communications Concept, a leading media company in Nigerian maritime sector has commended the newly appointed Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mr Mohammed Bello-koko, describing him as a shining light to the industry.
In a commendation letter sent to the NPA’s helmsman on Thursday which is entitled, “LETTER OF COMMENDATION AND FELICITATION ON YOUR APPOINTMENT AS SUBSTANTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR OF NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY,” the Chief Executive Officer of the maritime media giant, Mr Sylvanus Obasi expressed joy that after a long period of waiting, the Buhari -led federal government deemed it fit to confirm Bello-koko as the substantive Managing Director of NPA.
The commendation letter which was made available to Platform Reporters read in part, “In joyful appreciation to God Almighty who made it happen, we write to heartily felicitate with you on your recent appointment as the substantive Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
“Your deserved appointment has further confirmed your zeal and determination to reposition NPA as a true gateway to Nigerian economy.
“We at Platforms Communications first saw the shining light of your sterling leadership qualities in the way and manner you ensured smooth and steady emplementation of the electronic call up system for trucks which has eradicated the notorious Apapa gridlock. Hence, through our brand, Face Of Maritime International (FOMI), we confered on you the Nigerian Heroes Award in November 2021.
“As you take on the new roles of your elevated office, we pray the Almighty God to grant you wisdom, vision and divine protection. Once again, congratulations!”, Obasi stated.
Recall that Bello-koko was recently confirmed as the Managing Director of NPA after almost one year of working in acting capacity following the suspension and eventual sack of Ms Hadiza Bala Usman in March 2021.
