The program is a live phone-in Programme which gives listeners the opportunity of immediate feedback through direct participation by way of comments, questions and contributions via phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.
Ever since Maritime Platform Radio hit the airwaves in May 2014, the program has grown in a short period of time to become the listeners’ delight and maritime stakeholders’ choicest radio program. This is as a result of our professional presentation style and the uniqueness of our concept which is second to none in the maritime sector. While others report straight news stories, we interpret, dissect and analyse issues in the news, highlight major events and developments, thereby making it simple for ordinary Nigerians to understand and make informed decisions. It is called, interpretative journalism. And it’s very essential in a developing country like ours.
In doing this, we feature top Maritime Professionals and industry experts as Guest Analysts on weekly basis.
