POOR IMAGE MANAGEMENT: 2 Weeks After, NSC PR Yet to Publicise Stories, Photos of Stakeholders Appreciation Night

Believe it or not the Public Relations Department of NIMASA led by Isichei Osamgbi, and that of NPA led by Engr Adams Jatto are far ahead of their contemporaries in other agencies under the Ministry of Transportation when it comes to efficient image management and information dissemination of activities happening at their respective agencies.

But this can not be said about the Public Relations Unit of the Nigerian Shippers Council where today is exactly 2 weeks after the Council held its 2019 Annual Stakeholders Appreciation Night, yet no single press statement or photos of that glamorous occasion was sent to the press by the PR unit of the Council.

It’s either the NSC PR Unit or its handlers are weak, inefficient and incompetent to their duties. Or they didn’t see any newsworthy angle to the Stakeholders Appreciation Night where their Board Chairman gave a 10 minutes opening Speech and about 100 of their staff benefited from Staff Housing Scheme.

Otherwise, how else can one describe a poorly managed PR Unit shortsighted in dictating newsworthy items of its own event. Or is this a deliberate ploy to down play the success stories of Hassan Bello at NSC?

Watch out in January 2020 as Platform Reporters chronicles Hassan Bello’s milestones which went unreported due to poor PR handlers of NSC!

Don’t miss it! #buharimusthearthis
