EMTI Fulfills Promise To Jane, Set to Train Other Winners

Elkins Marine Training International (EMTI) on Tuesday fulfilled it’s promise to the Overall Best Graduated Maritime Student 2018, Miss Ogwo Jane Onyinye by paying her the One Hundred Thousand Naira (#100,000) Cash Prize promised her at the 2019 edition of “A Day With Nigeria Maritime Students” held recently in Lagos.

In a chat with the CEO of Platforms Communications, Sylvanus Obasi on Tuesday morning, Jane acknowledged receipt of the said amount paid into her account by EMTI.

On the free professional maritime training, the Management of EMTI revealed that Jane and other winners of 2018 Best Graduated Maritime Students Awards are free to commence their free training whenever each of them is ready to undertake the training.

Recall that at the event, EMTI offered free professional maritime training to all ten winners of 2018 Best Graduated Maritime Students Awards.

These include winners of Best Graduated Maritime Students Awards in the following maritime and Transport related courses: Marine Engineering, Nautical Sciences, Fisheries Management Technology, Maritime Transport and Business Studies.

Others are: Shipping Management, Maritime Management Technology, Transport Management Technology, Best Graduated female Maritime Student and Overall Best Graduated Maritime Student Award.

The Management of Platforms Communications commends EMTI for their kind gesture, and for keying into the concept of encouraging healthy academic competition amongst Nigerian maritime students.

Adding that other maritime agencies, companies, organisations, and good-spirited individuals are called upon to key into this Platforms Communications’ initiative aimed at rekindling hope of a better future for the future generation of the maritime industry.
